Handset Sales in Finland Fall
The Finnish Mobile Communication Suppliers Association has reported that wholesale deliveries of mobile phones to retailers in Finland fell by 5.2% over the past twelve months, to 121,003 units, a decline from the record levels last year.
"Colour displays, polyphonic (ringing) tones and camera phones are now consumers' favourites," the Finnish Mobile Communication Suppliers Association said in a statement.
It said that January-June sales were up 24%, year-on-year, at 611,795 units."
