German Network Streamline Network Planning
In order to improve coordination between Germany's local authorities and the mobile telephony operators, head local authority organizations and network operators have worked out joint recommendations for future planning of their networks expansion.
The paper was entitled "References and Information about the Mobile Telephony Agreement" and provides working help for daily practice. For instance, it presents recommendations for the specific approach required for building new transmission stations and guidelines for selecting locations. The aim is to make procedures involved in setting up mobile telephony transmitters more transparent.The recommendations complement the mobile telephony agreement between head local authority organizations and network operators in Germany, which was concluded in July 2001.
