Virgin Mobile Expands Retail Reach

Virgin Mobile's USA division has unveiled partnerships with four top prepaid wireless phone card distributors that will significantly expand the national reach of the company's Top-Up airtime replenishment cards to more than 25,000 individual retail locations.

Thanks to new agreements with CellCards, GTS Prepaid, PRE Solutions and InComm, customers of the national wireless upstart will soon be able to purchase Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards in US$20, US$30 and US$50 denominations at thousands of additional retail locations across the U.S.

"The broad availability of our Top-Up cards is critical to providing an outstanding level of customer service, which is a top goal for everyone at Virgin Mobile," said Dan Schulman, chief executive officer of Virgin Mobile USA. "We want to make accessing our products and services as convenient for our customers as possible. These four new distributor partners are well-established and respected in this space, and are going to help us ensure that we are exactly where our customers want us to be."

CellCards, GTS Prepaid, PRE Solutions and InComm have separate distribution agreements with a broad array of top national and regional retailers, which will expand consumer access to Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards by thousands of new locations.

As part of the expansion of its airtime distribution network, Virgin Mobile also confirmed that its Top-Up cards are now available in nearly 800 Hess gas station stores and CVS drug stores."
