Thai Network Orders Roaming Software
Thailand's newest GSM network, TA Orange has ordered Roamware's Outreach Messaging, Optimized Routing and Roaming Short Codes for roamers on its GSM wireless communications network. TA Orange says that it will provide differentiated services such as offering home-like services wherever the subscriber roams.
"Roamware's solutions will assist TA Orange to personalize services for our customers so that it will be easier for them to communicate whenever and wherever they are," said Ian Watson, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer (DCCO) of TA Orange. "Roamware has successfully implemented similar roaming services in countries like Singapore, Malaysia and India.
"A large number of in-bound roamers into Thailand are intra-regional travelers, hence the significance for TA Orange to offer a similar experience."
Roamware's Outreach Messaging solution can identify and categorize roamers upon arrival to its network, develop dynamic roamer databases, and proactively communicate with these subscribers through personalized messages with controlled timing, content and language.
Roamware's Roaming Short Codes solution enables inbound and outbound roamers to access value-added services by using familiar home short codes. It also provides Calling Line Identification (CLI) guarantee in short code service usage ensuring that the short code calls are transparently completed without any interaction requirement from the roamers. This results in increased call completion and hence increased revenue for mobile operators.
Roamware's Voicemail Call Completion solution enables the company to determine the best route for calls to voicemail without the out-roamer subscriber having to pay for a portion of the call, which will be directed to the forwarded-to number. Routing of such calls to voicemail will result in high customer satisfaction due to substantial cost savings."
