Mexico to Get Location Based Services

Mexico's TelCel has chosen LocatioNet's LBS middleware platform and GIS engine for the deployment of Location Based Services in Mexico. With this contract, TelCel will be the first wireless operator in the country to offer commercial Location Based Services.

TelCel operates a TDMA network in Mexico, and is overlaying it with GSM1900. The company is a subsidiary of America Movil"
