Medi Telecom Win Second Moroccan License

The Moroccan regulator - Agence Nationale pour la Regulamentation des Telecomunications, has recommended that Medi Telecom should be awarded the second GSM900 license in the country. It is now up to the government to ratify the regulators decision. Medi Telecom is a joint venture between Telefonica, Portugal Telecom,Banque Marrocaine du Commerce Exterieur and Afriquia, and has offered US$902 million for the license."
