Amplefuture Acquires MMS Capability

The UK based ringtones company, Amplefuture says that it has acquired a suite of MMS applications from the Norwegian Beep Science Ltd. In addition, Amplefuture has acquired Beep Science's Animated Screensaver service - thus adding a further 15, high-profile companies including Telenor, Zed and Handy to their existing client base.

Derek Byrne, MD of Amplefuture says 'MMS is a natural progression to 3G mobile phone services. Launching a full MMS service will give us, and our clients, a commercial product that will generate immediate revenue; and an eager customer base that are interested in receiving high quality, rich media information on their mobile phones'.

Amplefuture and Beep Science have agreed to co-operate on the development of future MMS services. The combined resources of both companies will ensure rapid deployment of end-to-end services to the mobile customer base."
