Nokia 7560 Doomed

The UK based software house, Wildpalm has released a version of the PC game, Doom for the Nokia 7650. The company has previously released a version for the larger Communicator handsets.

The game comes with 9 levels - and consumes a whopping 1.46 mb of the handsets memory. As the game does not perform well if the handset has less than 2000 kbytes of free memory, users will almost certainly have to remove all the other games they have installed, and make sure their e-mail folder doesn't get too large. While that is a negative point, it is one that will be resolved with the launch of the 3650 next year - which uses replaceable memory cards and will enable users to store different games on different cards.'"
