Nokia Infrastructure Division Cuts 5% of Workforce
Nokia Networks has said that it plans to make approximately 900 people redundant globally. Nokia will start employment discussions with the relevant labour representatives in those areas expected to be impacted by the redundancies. The impacts vary country by country, from a few employees in most countries to around one hundred in some larger countries. The changes are planned to take place gradually and be largely completed by the end of this year.
Nokia Networks employs approximately 19,000 people globally.'"
