Air2Web Using Nokia MMS Server
Air2Web says that it has successfully integrated it's Mobile Internet Platform with Nokia's Multimedia Messaging Center (MMSC) which enables sending multimedia messages from Air2Web's Atlanta-based servers to Nokia Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) servers located in Dallas, TX and Hong Kong. Trials are now underway with major carriers in the US and Latin America.
Air2Web has already integrated MMS capabilities into the wireless applications of several of its premier content providers such as The Weather Channel. These applications contain graphics depicting the daily weather forecasts, photo images of severe weather, etc.'"
