Lithuanian Network Sales Surge Ahead of Targets

During the first half of this year the turnover of Bite GSM exceeded US$44.3 million and compared to the same period of the last year increased by 58.9% - this result significantly exceeds the planed 40% turnover growth. In the end of June 370,000 subscribers were using Bite GSM services or 80% more than in the same period of the last year. The whole mobile market in Lithuania grew by 81.1% during the comparative period.

According to evaluation made by the company, mobile penetration in the country as a whole during the first half of the year reached 35%.
