MMS to Connect Photo Booths to Cellphones

The American photo booth company, PictureMark, in partnership with Seattle-based wireless media company, Mobliss has developed a method of sending photos from its photo kiosk network to cellphones via Multi-Media Messaging Service (MMS). Photos can be taken at live events and through a nationwide network of photo-enabled kiosks. Branded messages are included in the photo and sent to consumers via the Internet and mobile phones.

"We are very excited that our Pervasive Media Platform is being used to wirelessly enable the FotoZap Network," says Brian Levin, president and co-founder of Mobliss. "With all of the new mobile devices flooding the market with full color screens and imaging capabilities, people have a huge desire to personalize their phones with pictures and images of friends and loved ones."

Mobliss is supplying PictureMark with the Mobliss Pervasive Media Platform (PMP), which provides an end-to-end solution including MMS and SMS services. PMP provides device optimization technology for universal delivery and a common user experience across platforms and devices.'"
