M-wise Releases MMS Platform

Mobile technology firm m-Wise has released its MMS platform, which the company is already trialling with several operator and vendor partners in Europe and Asia . The m-Wise MMS platform manages and facilitates the deployment and control of interactive MMS services, and comes complete with dozens of plug-and-play multimedia applications and exclusive content for mobile operators, content providers and media companies.

m-Wise co-founder Shay Ben-Asulin said: "Our MOMA Gateway now enables mobile operators and large content providers to simultaneously launch and manage mobile data services over MMS, SMS, EMS and WAP, as well as USSD, voice, Web, email and pagers. We will also release our new J2ME platform in the fourth quarter of this year."

The MMS platform is delivered through the m-Wise carrier-grade MOMA Gateway. m-Wise encompassed a number of key features into its MMS platform, including multiple content-relevant billing solutions, built-in applications and development tools, and MMS content from the company's media, sports and entertainment partners. The company is implementing into the platform a copyrights management system for rich MMS content.'"
