Tecnomen Joins MMS Group

Tecnomen has joined the MMS Interoperability Group (MMS IOP), as an associate member. The MMS IOP Group aims to define and promote end-to-end operability and interoperability of Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), as defined and approved by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) and the WAP Forum. The Group's activities include the facilitation and co-ordination of MMS interoperability testing, problem solving and the channelling of technical information related to such testing. The potential results of such work will be included in the open standards defined and approved by 3GPP and the WAP Forum.

Tecnomen recently announced the successful completion of interoperability testing between the Tecnomen Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (Tecnomen MMSC) and SonyEricsson's T68i.
