ZTE says that it has secured two new Managed Services contracts with European network operators.
One contract was signed with Netherland's largest network operator KPN on Voicemail Hosting.
Under a three year contract, ZTE Services Deutschland will provide all relevant managed services to maintain and operate voicemail services for mobile subscribers in the Netherlands. After weeks of careful preparation and coordination, ZTE Services Deutschland took over the voicemail hosting for KPN starting on 1 November 2014.
In late 2009, KPN International selected ZTE as the single supplier for its new 2G/3G/4G networks in Germany and Belgium. The partnership has grown from network access equipment to the deployment of core network equipment and now also to the delivery of managed services.
In Luxembourg, ZTE has won a service contract for the operation, maintenance and roll-out of the core network of MVNO JOIN Experience. ZTE will also become the sole network equipment provider for JOIN's core network.
Under the comprehensive managed services contract with JOIN Experience, ZTE Services Deutschland will take over the complete responsibility for network operations, end-to-end reporting on the radio network, roll-out and maintenance as well as the trouble-shooting, repair, testing and software upgrading of JOIN's core network in Luxembourg and Belgium. ZTE will also provide a complete billing and payment management system to the JOIN network under the newly signed contract.
