Romanian Billing Rollout Wins Awards

The billing software firm, CSG Systems has said that its customer, Telemobil Romania, has won the "Best Billing Implementation" award in the telecommunications category at the sixth annual World Billing Awards last week. The award for "best billing implementation" presented to Telemobil Romania recognized its successful and aggressive implementation of the CSG Kenan 3G mobile solution, which enabled it to be the first operator to bill for 3G mobile services in Romania.

The solution, which included the CSG/Kenan(R) BP billing product, CSG Kenan(R)/OM order manager and CSG Data Mediation to manage network data mediation took only six months to implement and went live in December 2001.

CSG's billing and customer care solution already has the capacity to accurately bill for 3G services and is the most advanced billing system in the market.
