Norway's Tele2 has signed a national roaming agreement with Telenor Norway for all brands within the Tele2 Group. The agreement includes 2G, 3G, and 4G coverage.

The agreement concerning national roaming on Telenor's network will come into force from 1 July and will apply to the brands Tele2, One Call, My Call and Network Norway.

"We are pleased to have finalised a good and flexible agreement with Telenor. This deal will help to ensure that all our customers receive 4G and the best services, whether they are on our network or on Telenor's network," says Arild Hustad, CEO of Tele2 Norway.

The agreement covers 2G, 3G, and 4G coverage, and Tele2's customers will have an option to pay for access to higher data speeds.

Tele2?s brands Network Norway, One Call, and My Call are already part of a national roaming agreement with Telenor.

National roaming involves customers who have a relationship with a specific mobile network (home network) being moved onto a partner network when their home network has insufficient available coverage. Tele2 has, in partnership with Network Norway, developed Norway's third-largest mobile network during recent years. Network Norway is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tele2.
