NSN's Rajeev Suri Expected to Be Named As Nokia CEO Shortly

Nokia is expected to name the head of its NSN division Rajeev Suri as the new Group CEO once the sale of the handset division to Microsoft has been completed.
Local news reports said that Nokia's board will formalise the decision within a matter of weeks.
Finland's Helsingin Sanomat reported the news, citing "well-informed foreign and domestic sources", but added that Suri has yet to be formally notified of the decision.
Suri has been at Nokia since 1995 and was appointed as CEO of the NSN division in late 2009, where he worked to cut costs and turn the loss making division around.
The decision to apoint Suri to the Group CEO position is not a huge surprise, as he had been long tipped to be the lead candidate. NSN will be responsible for over 90% of Nokia's revenue, and it would be difficult to have a Group CEO who didn't reflect that balance of power within the company.
