Belgium's Belgacom says that it has entered into talks to sell its French ICT equipment distributor Groupe Telindus France to the French conglomerate Vivendi.
Groupe Telindus France generated EUR241 million revenues in 2013 and is the leading Cisco distributor in the country.
Vivendi's mobile network subsidiary, SFR formed a partnership with Groupe Telindus France last year to develop and commercialise unified cloud communication solutions, UCaaS (Unified Communication as a Service).
Pending final agreement, the transaction will be subject to approval by the French Competition Authorities.
