Telkomsel Seeking Overseas Expansion Plans

Indonesia's Telkomsel has announced plans to open more offices overseas as it seeks further investment opportunities to broaden its geographic reach.
The subsidiary of the state owned Telkom Indonesia has set itself the aim of becoming the fifth largest mobile network operator in the world, its sales director Mas'ud Khamid said.
Currently Telkomsel has 131.5 million subscribers, making it the sixth largest by subscriber base in the world.
"The plan is next month, we would open new offices in Taiwan and Macau, and later this year in Australia and Saudi Arabia," Mas'ud said.
