Cyprus Awards Third Mobile Operator License

Cyprus based PrimeTel MVNO says that it has been awarded the country's third mobile network operator license.
The company now plans to migrate from an MVNO to a full mobile network and will be deploying a 4G based network.
In a statement, PrimeTel CEO Mr. Hermes Stephanou confirmed 'The acquisition of the third mobile license has been a milestone for our company. We fully recognize that the future of Broadband is Mobile and as such we will proceed with this investment. Our company is committed to delivering next generation Services with speeds exceeding 30 mbps for mobile devices'.
The company has around 40,000 mobile subscribers, built up since it launched its MVNO in May 2011. The company currently rents capacity from Cyta.
