Latin America focused mobile content retailer Mobile Streams has announced that its Chief Financial Officer Gaston Cerf has resigned with immediate effect.
The news comes just a week after the company announced a profits warning and said that it was still struggling with extracting its money from the main Argentinean market due to local currency controls.
He only jointed the company last June, and was based in the company's Argentinean office. He was granted stock options that only came in effect a year after he started with the company, so he probably lost those as well.
Simon Buckingham, CEO of Mobile Streams commented: "Gaston has done a solid job for Mobile Streams during a difficult and complex period as we managed the challenges created by the financial issues in Argentina."
Operations in Argentina remain, as before, under the control of our local leadership and all local financial issues are being dealt with by the team there."
The company's shares fell again on the news after dropping sharply last week.
It took Mobile Streams a year to find a CFO the last time it was looking.
