Vodafone and Tigo See Ghana Subscriber Base Growth

Two of Ghana's mobile networks saw their customer base rise as three others shrank according to the latest numbers from the telecoms regulator.
The NCA declared that during last November, the country's largest mobile network, MTN saw its customer base shrink by 20,000 to 12.71 million. Airtel saw its customer base shrink to 3.33 million. Glo Mobile also shrank slightly to 1.53 million customers.
However, both Vodafone and Tigo saw their customer bases rise.
Vodafone added 75,000 customers taking it to 5.86 million, while Tigo saw its customer base pass the 4 million mark for the first time.
Glo Mobile also shrank slightly to 1.53 million customers.
Expresso maintained its miniscule market shares of half a percentage point.
The country as a whole ended the month with 27.666 million mobile phone users.
