Pakistan's telecoms regulator temporarily suspended the WLL licenses held by PTCL for unauthorised use of radio spectrum.
The affected areas were Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi and Multan, where the mobile network offers fixed wireless internet services.
However, within hours, the mobile network had made the payment of a Rs82.5 million fine and the licenses were restored.
The company is also being monitored to ensure that its use of radio spectrum is within the permits it has been allocated.
