T-Mobile Staff to Transfer to Huawei in Managed Services Agreement
Published on: 6th Jan 2014
T Mobile is reported to have outsourced the management of its Dutch network to Huawei with the transfer of 80 staff to the Chinese vendor.
The two companies have signed a 5-year contract covering the maintenance of around 4,800 base stations, according to a report by the Nieuws website.
T-Mobile already uses Huawei equipment in its network based on an agreement signed by its parent company in December 2007, and has more recently awarded an LTE deployment contract to the company.
The financial terms of the contract were apparently not disclosed.
