Israel's Ministry of Communications has ordered the mobile network operators to block automatic access to mobile internet services when customers are roaming overseas.
The customer would still be able to use mobile internet services, but will have to proactively request if before they leave the country.
Responding, Partner Communications said that it intends to exercise mitigating steps, in order to minimize the negative impact of the regulatory decision, but said that it can't predict the financial impact of the change.
The ban on automatic roaming comes into effect next February.
