Telecom New Zealand has said that it is considering a possible sale of its 60% interest in Telecom Cook Islands.
Telecom Cook Islands (TCI) is the sole provider of telecommunications in the Cook Islands and is owned by Telecom New Zealand (60%) and the Cook Islands Government (40%).
In a very short statement, the company added that no decision has been made whether or not to proceed and it wont comment any further on the issue.
