"We are looking at extending the 4G LTE network reach within the next few quarters, so that our customers can enjoy unlimited high speed mobile Internet, and an enhanced mobile experience with U Mobile," said Wong Heang Tuck, Chief Operating Officer and Acting CEO of U Mobile.

In conjunction with the 4G LTE launch, U Mobile will be offering promotional LTE device bundle-plans starting from 17 December 2013 to 31 January 2014.

U Mobile was one of the nine companies within the local mobile industry awarded with the 2.6Ghz spectrum by the telecoms regulator, the MCMC.
