Published on: 10th Dec 2013
Cable Wireless Communications has launched LTE services in the Cayman Islands at its Lime branded mobile network a week after Digicel launched its own LTE service.
Lime's LTE mobile data network, which was installed by Ericsson, provides 100% coverage across the Cayman Islands.
Bill McCabe, Chief Executive Officer of LIME Cayman Islands, said: "The launch of LTE in the Cayman Islands marks the islands out as one of the best connected and best served countries not just in the region but anywhere in the world."
The company is also in the process of rolling out high speed fibre broadband services across the country, which is one of the highest GDP per capita markets in the Caribbean.
