Cellcom Confirms LTE Network Sharing Talks with Pelephone and Golan Telecom
Published on: 4th Dec 2013
Israel's Cellcom has confirmed previous rumours that it is conducting negotiations towards a 4G radio network sharing with Pelephone and Golan Telecom and towards sharing of passive elements of cell sites for existing networks with Pelephone.
At this stage Cellcom said that there is no assurance that such negotiations shall mature into an agreement, or that the regulator would approve such a deal.
Rival networks Hot Mobile and Partner also recently announced plans to build a joint network, and that deal is also still waiting for the regulators to approve it.
