HTC Names New Manager for Hong Kong and Macau Regions

Smartphone manufacturer, HTC has announced the appointment of Cedric So as General Manager of Hong Kong and Macau. He will be responsible for the regions' operations, channels management, sales and overall business development.
"Hong Kong and Macau have always been an important target market for the Asia region. We are very excited to welcome Cedric So to HTC," said Jack Tong, Head of China and President of North Asia. "With his extensive leadership and sales experience, he will lead the region's team in product planning in addition to market and channels development, helping HTC establish a stable foundation in Greater China."
Before joining HTC, So was the Managing Director at Crown Motors and was responsible for Hong Kong's sales, marketing and distribution. So has over 20 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, previously holding executive-level positions in Apple and Motorola.
Cedric holds an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
