Somalia's Golis Telecom resumed its services on Saturday following a temporary shut down ordered by the government.
The company had been accused of distributing text messages to subscribers that the government did not approve of.
The mobile network operates in the semi-autonomous Puntland State of Somalia, and the messages wee reportedly sent by the Somali government to Puntland residents.
The network was allowed to resume services when the Puntland security officials were satisfied that the mobile network was not involved in crafting the messages.
The shut-down lasted around 10 hours on Saturday.
