Three Lithuanian Mobile Networks Win 800Mhz Spectrum

Lithuania's telecoms regulator, the RRT has announced the winners of a radio spectrum auction for the 800Mhz spectrum bands.

Auction participants were offered to compete for one lot of 10 MHz duplex band and four lots of 5 MHz duplex radio frequency band.

The licenses are valid until July 2030 and come with minimum coverage and average download speed requirements.

Bite won the right to use radio frequencies from the 791-801 MHz and 832-842 MHz duplex radio frequency band (block No. 1/2);

Omnitel won the right to use radio frequencies from the 801-806 MHz and 842-847 MHz duplex radio frequency band (block No. 3) and radio frequencies from the 806-811 MHz and 847-852 MHz duplex radio frequency band (block No. 4);

Tele2 won the right to use radio frequencies (channels) from the 811-816 MHz and 852-857 MHz duplex radio frequency band (block No. 5) and radio frequencies from the 816-821 MHz and 857-862 MHz duplex radio frequency band (block No. 6).
