NTT DoCoMo Customers Details Leaked by Hackers
Published on: 28th Apr 2013
Customer data belonging to USA based customers of Japan's NTT DoCoMo have been published online after a computer system was hacked into by the LulzSec group.
The company confirmed the data was legitimate customer information.
The customers affected are Japanese individuals and companies who buy services from DoCoMo while in the USA.
Some 2,208 customer details were published, of which 403 included their credit card details. A number of employee admin details were also published.
A LulzSec spokesman confirmed the hacking group had attacked the server in response, they said, to the company's support for a controversial internet law being debated in the USA.
