SK Telecom Signs Up 10 Millionth 4G Subscriber

South Korea's SK Telecom has announced that its LTE subscriber base has passed the 10 million mark, which would give it around half the Korean market for 4G services. The company expects to end this year with around 15 million LTE customers.
SK Telecom launched its LTE based 4G service in July 2011, and took 17 months to reach 7 million subscribers, but just a further four months to add another 3 million subscribers to the service.
SK Telecom said its LTE subscribers accounted for 37 percent of its total customer base
LTE subscriptions in South Korea topped the 20 million mark early this month.
