Samsung Confirms Launch Date for New Galaxy Smartphone

Samsung successfully took some of the announcement thunder away from other handset manufacturers, not by announcing a new handset, but announcing the announcement of a new handset.
The company confirmed that it will hold a press event on the 14th March to announce a new Galaxy product - which is widely expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch.
The smartphone is expected to offer an 8-core processor with SuperAMOLED display, 13 Megapixel camera and run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Samsung's Lebanese office recently let slip that the company's expected S4 smartphone wont be released until after May - but that may be a regional launch date away from the main markets.
