Silke Hoesch Named New General Manager of the FreeMove Alliance

FreeMove the mobile telecommunications alliance between Deutsche Telekom Group France Telecom Orange TeliaSonera and Telecom Italia today announced that its Supervisory Board has named Silke Hoesch General Manager as of February 1 2013. Mrs. Hoesch succeeds Fabien Gustafsson. The change in leadership is part of a regular rotation for the alliance where a new general manager is appointed every three years.
Fabien Gustafsson declared "It has been a great honor to have lead the FreeMove Alliance for three years as its first General Manager. It has been a privilege to work with such a talented team to establish the alliance. I am grateful for their commitment, and confident that with Silke at the helm the alliance will reach even higher levels with its industry leading portfolio of services."
In her new role Mrs. Hoesch will act as the organization's advocate with customers, members, partners and stakeholders. She will be responsible for expanding the scope and range of the FreeMove Alliance portfolio of services and improve how the alliance identifies, approaches and works with customers.
