Samsung Shows Off Basic Android Smartphone

Published on:

Samsung has shown off another Android based LTE smartphone, which the company coyly describes as "accessible to everyone", which is usually code for a lower priced handset.

The Samsung Galaxy Express comes with a 4.5" Super AMOLED Plus screen, a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and two cameras. A front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera is complimented by the 5 megapixel main camera, with built-in flash.

The Android OS is version 4.1 - known as Jelly Bean.

No release details for the new phone were provided though.
