UK Phone Retailer, Phones 4U to Launch Own MVNO

The UK mobile phone retailer, Phones 4U has announced plans to launch its own 3G based MVNO, running over the EE network. EE will make LTE services available for the "Life Mobile" branded service later in 2013.
The MVNO will launch in March this year.
Tim Whiting, Group Chief Executive at Phones 4U confirmed that the retailer will sell Life Mobile alongside its existing network propositions.
Marc Overton, Vice President of Wholesale and M2M at EE said: "We're delighted that EE has been selected as Phones 4u's MVNO partner, giving us the opportunity to further build on our longstanding and successful relationship. As the largest MVNO operator in the UK, we believe in providing our customers with a choice of deals to meet their needs, and our partners are a key part of our growth strategy."
EE is the renamed Everything Everywhere network, formed from the merger of T-Mobile and Orange in the UK.
Phones 4U currently has around 550 retail stores across the UK.
