Cybercom Develops Solutions for Volvo's First Connected Infotainment Service

Cybercom has confirmed that it is developing solutions and services for Volvo Car's first connected infotainment solution. The new system enables new kinds of services such as connected navigation, streaming music and service booking.
Cybercom is a provider of solutions and services to Volvo Cars in electronics and software development.
"Based on VCC's interaction concept, and through an agile approach between Volvo Cars and Cybercom, we have succeeded in developing applications and a graphical user interface in significantly less time and with a smaller budget than would have been possible with a traditional approach," says John Eliasson at Cybercom.
"Most car manufacturers are now launching solutions that involve providing entertainment and services that were previously associated with mobile phones and tablets, and we can say with great certainty that this is the beginning of a new era in the automotive industry, where new applications are integrated in the car."
Cybercom's domestic market is the Nordic region, and in addition the company offers global delivery capacity for local and international business.
