Vodafone Spain Tops Customer Complaints Tally

Published on:

Vodafone topped a list of complaints about Spanish mobile networks during 2012 according to the consumer rights group, FACUA.

The company generated a third of all complaints about mobile network quality, although that was an improvement on the previous year when it had generated 37% of all complaints.

Telefonica's Movistar was not far behind, with 29% of complaints - and was also down by 3% on the previous year. Orange was third with 19% of the complaints, down by 2% year on year.

The smaller operators saw their complaint levels rise though, with Ono up 2% to 8% of all complaints and Jazztel up by 1% to 5% of all the complaints made. A factor in the rising level of complaints is however put down to shrinking customer bases at the larger networks and rising customer bases at the two smaller companies.
