Samsung Working on 8-Inch Android Tablet

Samsung is reportedly working on a smaller tablet device that will be shown off next month in Barcelona, and which will come with an 8-inch display screen.
Citing unnamed sources, the Samsung fan website, SamMobile reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (codename GT-N5100) will come with an 8-inch 1280×800 TFT (Super Clear LCD) display along with a 5 megapixel back camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera.
The reported dimensions of the Android based tablet will be 211.3×136.3×7.95 mm and the weight is around the 330 grams. It will also include the pen-stylus which was mocked when first shown off but has proven to be highly popular with consumers.
If the reports are correct then that pitches the tablet directly at the Apple iPad Mini market, putting the two tech giants on another headlong collision and could spark another round of lawsuits to get sales bans and the like.
