Telenor Selects Huawei for LTE-Ready Microwave Backhaul

Telenor has signed an agreement with Huawei to deploy its E-Band and full outdoor (FO) microwave backhaul products when rolling out LTE networks.
The agreement is for three years although the estimated financial value was not disclosed.
"Huawei has forged a long-term strategic partnership with Telenor in the microwave field. We will continue to focus on customer needs and innovate in microwave solutions, helping our customers gain commercial success in the mobile broadband field," said Jack Wang, president of Huawei Transport Network Product Line.
Huawei has deployed LTE backhaul networks for many global operators including: Vodafone D2 (Germany), O2 (Czech Republic), T-Mobile (Austria), and STC (Saudi Arabia).
