Three Vodacom Staff Arrested for Forging PrePay TopUp Vouchers

­Police in Mozambique have arrested three Vodacom employees on allegations that they forged the mobile networks prepay airtime topup cards.

The three computer and electronic engineers all worked at the Vodacom head office in Maputo.

Citing the local newspaper, Mediafax, the Mozambique News Agency said that the forgery has been going on for some time, and must have cost Vodacom many millions of meticais.

The police believe that more people must have been involved, both inside and outside the company, and they are trying to identify them all.
