YouTube Mobile App to Share Videos with Smart-TVs

Online video sharing service, YouTube has announced plans for a mobile app that would enable videos to be "sent" from an Android smartphone to selected television models.
The mobile app will work initially with televisions from Bang & Olufsen, LG, Panasonic and Sony. The company said that it expects other TV manufacturers follow later this year.
The mobile app essentially acts as a remote control for the television, which is connected to the internet and displays the YouTube website on the larger screen.
