T-Mobile Store Manager Arrested for Robbing Own Store

Published on:

The manager of a T-Mobile USA retail store in Northern Ohio has been arrested for robbing his own store.

Todd Daniel, 48, of Lorain was arrested for filing a false police report after claiming that the store had been burgled and some US$5,000 worth of phones and cash had gone missing.

Citing Lt. Roger Watkins, the Morning Journal wrote that following suspicions about his story, the police searched the managers home and found US$4,500 in cash and half a pound of marijuana valued at US$500.

Lt. Watkins could not provide specifics on what led to the arrest because of the ongoing investigation, but said the officers found discrepancies between the manager's story and that given by the other employees at the store.

Later assessment of video footage also found that the robbers alleged black car actually belonged to the store manager.
