Robi Axiata Signs Network Infrastructure Sharing Agreement

­Bangladesh based mobile network, Robi Axiata says that it recently signed a bilateral transmission network sharing agreement with Summit Communications.

Robi said that it expects to have more sharing and cooperation in coming days. Transmission Network Sharing will help both Robi and Summit to utilize the Transmission Network they own more efficiently and cut costs.

Transmission Network Sharing can be a useful tool for stimulating Mobile networks in areas that may otherwise be uneconomical to serve.

The duration and financial details of the network sharing were not disclosed.
