Apple to Fix Maps Problem - by Redesigning the Planet
Published on: 6th Dec 2012
Note -- this news article is more than a year old.
Although Apple's laughably bad maps service garnered a lot of bad press and joke when it launched the service is still causing problems and US satirical website The Onion has decided to direct its comedy in Apple's direction.
"Apple is committed to providing the best user experience possible, which is why we are working to dismantle the Brooklyn Bridge and put London in Canada," says Apple CEO Tim Cook in the video news clip.
The Onion is occasionally accidentally seen by non-American newspapers as a legitimate news source, so for the avoidance of doubt, this is not how Apple is actually planning to fix its maps service.
Then again, where Apple is concerned, never say never.
