Facebook Offers Photo Sync Service from Smartphones

Published on:

Social networking website, Facebook has announced a photo syncronisation service, which it says will make it easier to share photos.

With this feature, photos from a smartphone sync automatically to a private album on the web. When users want to share these photos, they just pick and post their favorites onto the public account.

The website says that it started testing the "photo sync" service in August and will continue to make it available to more people.

The service requires Facebook's iPhone or Android app.
