Motorola Mobility Closes Indian Website

Motorola Mobility's retrenchment from markets where the company no longer wants to sell phones has resulted in the closure of its Indian website.
Visitors to the website are greeted with a pop-up envelope with the message that "We are streamlining our business and support systems, and unfortunately, we'll no longer have a dedicated website for India."
The company will however maintain its after-sales service website "well into the future".
Motorola Mobility is currently cutting around 4,000 jobs worldwide as it pulls back from countries under its Google ownership.
